Recap of Dreamcon…

We had a great time at Dreamcon. We enjoyed getting to meet some of you. Especially the awesome coplayers that are subscribers of this rag. We look forward to seeing you at other events…speaking of which. We will be at Comicpalooza. If you plan on going let us know. They still have tickets and some of our favorite local authors will be there.

Houston's Biggest Japanese indoor Japanese Festival with over 400 vendors, including food, cosplay, car show, dance competition, live concert

Celebration of Japanese culture held indoors at NRG Center in Houston, Texas. Bringing together over 400 vendors from nationwide to showcase Japanese Culture for 2 Days. Enjoy the scene from car shows, concerts, programs, arcades, martial arts, samurais , voice actors and so much more on June 14 and 15 (Father's Day Weekend).

SAWYER YARDS is home to one of the largest working artist communities in the country. And once a month (the SECOND SATURDAY) they open their studios to the public as part of a large art festival. Think - vendor booths featuring an extensive collection of PAINTINGS, PHOTOGRAPHY, CLOTHING and OTHER MIXED MEDIA 🎨. As well as FREE FOOD 🥪, AND DRINKS 🥂 for the aspiring art aficionados attending the festival.


Hot Ghoul Summer Friday 13th event (Good luck with this one…We don’t go looking for ghosts. Hear something? Run!)

Learn some Houston history, enjoy some spooky places, and make new friends as we walk the bayou for our Friday the 13th ghost tour! Event includes a bar stop where you can purchase food/drinks before and after the tour while also mingling with new friends!

Tickets are only $10! Event is free for premium members!
